Correction of Breast Deformities

Breast surgery can be very challenging in secondary and tertiary revision cases in someone who has undergone multiple surgeries.  Over time, some patients may experience thinning of their breast tissue, excessive scarring, or malposition of the implant. 

Using techniques combining breast reconstruction and breast enhancement, Dr. Sorosky and Dr. Park can perform correctional surgery for both primary breast problems as well as secondary cases from multiple previous surgeries.

Although breast size and appearance vary in each person, certain shapes require special attention. The following are examples:

28 y/o patient with a tubular breast deformity corrected with breast augmentation (390cc left and 360cc right) saline implants placed in front of the muscle. Post operative photos were taken 2 months after surgery.

40 y/o patient with prominent sternum(breast bone) and very small breasts. She underwent BA with 360cc silicone implants placed under the muscle. Post/Op photos taken 2 1/2 months after surgery.
39 y/o who had saline implants placed in front of the muscle 12 years ago. Developed hardening and visable ripling which increased after childbirth. Revision breast surgery consisted of removing saline implants and part of capsules and repacing with 650cc silicone implants into new pockets under the pectoralis muscle. Post op photos are taken 2 1/2 months after surgery.

55 y/o with a pectus deformity (breast bone is caved in). Breast augmentation was performed with 460cc silicone implants placed under the muscle. Post Op photos taken 2 months after surgery.
